Draft Analyzer Web for Fantasy Baseball 2009

We will be launching the Draft Analyzer Web for MLB by Monday, February 16th (Update: Launching Wednesday).

The key difference for 2009 compared with past years is that the application is web-based, so you won’t need to download and install any software but you will need Internet access (Broadband is great, but WiFi or even dial-up will suffice).  The web-based version of the Draft Analyzer represents the future of this product line and we are excited to launch it in February with some great partners.  We will continue to have a desktop version available for NFL and likely for MLB 2010, but not for MLB 2009.  The MLB 2009 version will also have some limitations compared with our prior desktop application as you won’t be able to enter keepers or customize the draft order (these features will be available for NFL 2009).  I apologize for these inconveniences and hope you like the new features and advanced draft analytics of the web-based application.

Key features for Draft Analyzer Web for Fantasy Baseball 2009:

  • Web-based Application (No downloads; Internet access required during draft/auction)
  • Auction or Snake/Straight style drafts
  • AL Only, NL Only or Mixed Leagues
  • Roto or Fantasy Point scoring
  • Common league settings templates provided for fastest set-up
  • Customize your own scoring or roster settings

Feel free to email me (ted at draftanalyzer.com) with any questions or comments.

Thank you,

Ted

What time? Been waiting all day!

We are putting some finishing touches on the app and should have it launched by the end of today (Tuesday).

Thank you for your post and interest! We are excited to get this launched!

I have ESPN insider, and I’ve called both ESPN and DraftAnalyzer and have been assured by both that this is included in my insider subscription, and that the link would be up by Tuesday, march 3rd. It’s now Thursday night, March 5th. My draft is Saturday.
    What can I do?

    • playersearch Says:

Kevin – We have been working around the clock to get this launched with ESPN. We are targeting tomorrow at 5pm… I hope more than anyone that you will be able to use the Draft Analyzer for your draft on Saturday. The app is live and fully functional on http://www.draftanalyzer.com, we just need to iron out final integration issues for the version on ESPN.

Sorry for the wait and delay.

    Ted,

Thank you very much for replying to me and giving me an ETA. If it can be up tomorrow evening, or even by Saturday morning, that would be great.
    You have a great product.
I hope that I can use it.
I just can’t justify paying separately for your website if it’s already included with ESPN, in the event that it’s not up.

    Anyway, thanks.

Kevin – Unfortunately, we won’t be launching the DA on espn.com until Monday. In the meantime, I can create a license for you to use on our site (with ESPN rankings) and we can transfer it to your Insider account after we launch that version. If that interests you (or any other Insiders waiting for the product) drop me an email at support at draftanalyzer.com and I will create a license for you using your email address and “insider” as the password. We will transfer any leagues you create with this temporary license to your Insider license at some point early next week. If you need immediate access you can purchase a license on our site and then send us an email saying you want to transfer to an Insider license when it is available (we will credit your purchase and transfer your license).

      Sorry for the hassle.

      Ted

Looks like a great program. I have been in a league with the same guys for the last 19 seasons. We have a keeper league, and we also trade draft picks. Will this program work for me in this case?

    • playersearch Says:

Jon – You can enter Keepers using the “Add to Roster” feature. Draft day trades are possible using a combination of “Skip Pick” and “Add to Roster”. Lets say you trade me your 7th and 10th round draft picks for my 2nd round pick. When I am on the clock in the 2nd round (your new pick) and you select Jimmy Rollins…you would hit the “Skip Pick” button to skip my pick (no player added to my roster for that pick) and then use the “Add to Roster” feature to place Rollins on your squad. You would do the same in the 7th and 10th rounds skipping your two picks and manually placing my draft picks on my roster.

Does that make sense? It is actually pretty easy and flexible. We will build in specific draft pick trading features for future releases.

      Thank you for your input.

I used this software with my CBSsports fantasy football this past year and won one league and had the top team until playoffs in another league.

Is the baseball set up the same? Will the software launch my CBS baseball league and give me players to draft based on who has been drafted just like the football software?
